The new Turkish series “Kızıl Goncalar,” which started in a controversial manner on Fox TV screens in recent weeks, will not be aired again this Monday (January 15).
The series “Kızıl Goncalar,” scheduled to be broadcast every Monday, has been facing issues with politicians, associations, and sects in Turkey from the beginning.
Becoming the target of certain communities since its first episode, “Kızıl Goncalar” was eventually punished by the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) following official complaints. As a result of this penalty, the broadcasting channel FOX was fined administratively, and broadcasting was stopped.
A few days ago, the penalty was approved, and the broadcast of the “Kızıl Goncalar” series was suspended until January 22.
Although the new episode, the 3rd episode of “Kızıl Goncalar,” is scheduled to be broadcast on Monday, January 22, there is no guarantee that the series will not face further penalties. Most likely, the series will not be able to escape from trouble, and the pressures will continue.
What do you think about this situation where both sides seem to have their own justifications?
