FOX TV, which has been making a name for itself with its series this season, has announced the premiere of a new series. If there are no changes, it is expected that the first episode of the series “Kopuk” will air on Monday, January 2, 2024, at 8:00 PM.
Starring Kaan Yıldırım (Ferhan), Seray Kaya (Müjde), and Biran Damla Yılmaz (Sera), the series will tell the story of three young people living in Tarlabaşı.
Plot of the Series “Kopuk”:
“Stealing from the rich to give to the poor… Is it still a folk hero story or is the hero now the very money itself, even for the poorest among us?” … begins the story of Kopuk with this slogan, and continues to narrate its story as follows:
Ferhan steals the money of bribers, fraudsters, and those who have become rich through undeserved looting, and reaches out to the poor youth in his neighborhood, educating them and helping their families. An unexpected death will shake his entire life. This incident will not only test him with his ideals but also with his love, as he seeks ways to pass this test.
Realizing he cannot fight injustices solely as Ferhan, he takes on the identity of Orhan. Thus, while Ferhan struggles with the father of Müjde, whom he loves in the neighborhood but needs to stay away from, as lawyer Orhan, his path intersects with İpek, the heir of the family trying to take over the neighborhood.
In a world where no good deed goes unpunished, it is still possible to reverse the game…

Kaan Yıldırım (Ferhan)
Kaan Yıldırım, aged 37, was born on December 24, 1986, in Istanbul, Turkey. He began his acting career portraying the character Kadir in the series “Kayıp”. However, he gained significant recognition starring in the series called ‘Ulan Istanbul’, alongside Uğur Polat, Sevtap Özaltun, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, and Şebnem Bozoklu. In 2015, he played the character Batu Değirmenci opposite Ezgi Eyüboğlu in the summer series “Adı Mutluluk”. Kaan Yıldırım got married to his co-star Ezgi Eyüboğlu in 2016 but got divorced in 2019.

Seray Kaya (Müjde)
Seray Kaya, born on February 4, 1991, in Istanbul, Turkey, began her active acting career in 2012. She appeared in series like “Huzur Sokağı” on ATV from 2012 to 2014, “Kocamın Ailesi” on FOX from 2014 to 2015, and “Gülümse Yeter” on Show TV from 2016 to 2017. Her breakthrough role was as “Şirin Sarıkadı” in the FOX series “Kadın” from 2017 to 2020.

Müjde: She is a strong woman living in Tarlabaşı. She is in love with Ferhan.
Biran Damla Yılmaz (Sera)
Biran Damla Yılmaz, aged 26, was born on June 28, 1997, in Istanbul, Turkey. She has appeared as the lead actress in series such as “Kırgın Çiçekler”, “Canevim”, and “Baraj”. Her recent role was portraying “Kumru Yıldırım” in the FOX series “Yasak Elma” from 2021 to 2023.
Biran Damla Yılmaz’s role in the series “Kopuk”:
Sera: She is a successful lawyer interning at Ferhan’s law office.
Mustafa Açılan (Tan)
Mustafa Açılan, born on February 22, 1987, in Istanbul, Turkey, entered the camera’s frame for the first time in 2016 in the series “Kanıt: Ateş Üstünde”. In 2022, he played the character “Uraz” in the series “Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi” that aired on Show TV.

Sarp Akkaya, born on May 13, 1980, in Istanbul, Turkey, began his acting career with the series “Bizim Aile”. He has appeared in over ten series, and his latest appearance was in the series “Kopuk”.
Faruk: He is a wealthy businessman and Sera’s father.
Engin Alkan (Bumin)
Engin Alkan, born on July 27, 1965, in Istanbul, Turkey, has appeared in numerous theater plays and series.
Bumin: He is Faruk’s partner.
Kadir Çermik (Ziya)
Abdulkadir Çermik, born in 1977 in Van, Turkey, is a Turkish actor known for his roles in theater, cinema, and TV series.
Ziya: He is Faruk’s right-hand man.
Melisa Doğu (Perihan)
Melisa Doğu, born in 1981 in Istanbul, is involved in acting, teaching, and coaching. She started modeling and acting at the age of 14.
Perihan: She is Müjde’s mother.
Evliya Aykan (Damat Erdem)
Damat Erdem: He is Faruk’s son.
Sahra Şaş (Nihal)
Sahra Şaş, born on November 15, 1994, in Istanbul, received brief acting training and debuted in the series “Tatar Ramazan” in 2013.
