A new Turkish series called “Kül Masalı” has started airing on TRT1. The series airs on Thursdays and faces strong competitors on other channels at the same time slot, with “İnci Taneleri” and “Sakla Beni” taking the lead. Of course, TRT1 series may not consider these shows as competitors, as they may not be at the same level.

Plot of “Kul Masali”:

Arat Giraylı (Gökhan Alkan), the heir of the Giraylı family, one of Turkey’s wealthiest and most established families, meets and falls in love at first sight with Özge (Sevda Erginci), who comes from a poor and humble background, and they get married. Özge has been working as a chef in a restaurant for about 6 years.

Özge’s entry into the mansion where Arat’s family lives as a bride suddenly throws her into a world of intrigues from a love story. Her husband’s outbursts of anger from the past, Özge’s sister Behiye’s (Gizem Güneş) ambition for wealth, and the shadow of Arat’s deceased wife Jale (Başak Gümülcinelioğlu), whose death remains suspicious, further complicate Özge’s challenging journey.
